On 24 March 2009, Ainsworth Heritage re-established itself as an independent business, following a temporary merge with another company. Originally Ainsworth Heritage, founded by Jane Ainsworth, had operated as a heritage consultancy prior to the temporary merger from late 2005 until 1 July 2007.

During its history, Ainsworth Heritage has established a reputation for high quality, award-winning work and the creation of new industry benchmarks in relation to defence heritage sites. Ainsworth Heritage has very loyal, consistently satisfied clients with a high level of repeat business. We undertook work in NSW and Victoria for a wide range of clients covering broad the spectrum of Heritage’s various fields.
The re-establishment of Ainsworth Heritage saw Jane’s long term staff member and brother, Matt Alexander, join her as a co-owner and manager of the business. The time since our re-establishment has seen our number of clients rapidly expand and new staff and associates join our company.
Now that we are operating as an independent company again, we are thoroughly enjoying the opportunity work according to our principles and beliefs, and to bring our strong ethics and approach to all facets of our work. Our company is based on the framework of people and principles before profit.
Since our refounding we have been able to expand our business to include a well respected and successful Aboriginal Cultural Heritage branch. This new arm of Ainsworth Heritage has allowed the company to provide comprehensive heritage services to all our clients.
